Boar Tusk Road is down to one lane, according to Rockdale County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Jodi Shupe.

Emergency service authorities are notifying residents in low-lying areas that the river is rising and advising them to monitor radio, TV, weather radio and the internet for more information. 

Deputies are increasing patrol in these areas but no areas have been evacuated at this time.
