David and Janet McCoy, columnists for the Rockdale News,  are proud to announce the birth of a new grandson, Daniel Christopher, born Dec. 27.

The parents of young Daniel are Christopher and Michelle McCoy of Due West, S.C.

Proud maternal grandparents are Lynne and Mike Miles of Monroe and Mark and Bonnie Hornsby of Grayson.

Daniel Christopher weighed 7 pounds 12 ounces and was 20.5 inches long.
