After losing eight of nine the Heritage girls' basketball team has now put together two wins in a row.

Following a 38-36 loss to Cedar Shoals, which started a three-game skid, Heritage's coach Chris Pennamon decided to switch things up a bit. The Lady Patriots have since then lost to Rockdale and Alcovy, revenged their loss to Cedar Shoals with a 44-24 win last Tuesday, thanks in part to going to a 1-2-1 defensive zone.

The Lady Patriots (8-12, 2-2 Region 8-AAAA) were no match for Cedar Shoals' bigger players, and had been getting beat routinely on the boards.
