Armed robbery at Subway

A Rockdale County Sherriff's deputy responded to a call on an armed robbery on March 27 at the Subway restaurant on Georgia Highway 212 in Conyers.

When the deputy arrived the two suspects, both black mails hearing hoodies, according to witnesses, had reportedly left the scene on foot heading south.

According to reports two of the victims were in the middle of placing their order when two black males walked in. One was wearing a full face black ski mask and a zip up solid gray jacket with the hood over his head, and carried a hand gun similar to the deputy's Glock. That suspect then started yelling and cursing at everyone in the store to get down.
A victim told the deputy that, "he demanded their purses and cell phones and then told (another victim) to get down and hand over the money."

According to reports the suspect then jumped over the counter to the back and yelled at a second employee to give him money.

The customers were then put inside the freezer door, where an employee opened it and told the victims to "run, we're going to try and make a break for it."

The victims went to the Publix and called 911 from there.
The suspects are still at large.
