UPDATE: The two suspects the RCSO are currently looking for got away with what's being described as a "small amount of cash" from the store's cash register.

RCSO Sgt. Andy Arnold says that more than likely means less than $100.

Both men were armed with black semi-automatic handguns.

The perimeter was taken down without the RCSO being able to find the suspects. The RCSO is asking that if anyone has any information that can lead to capture of the suspects call RCSO Cpl. Michael Cobb at (770) 278-8154.

The Rockdale County Sheriff Office is searching for two suspects that robbed a Metro PCS, 2020 Eastside Drive, Rockdale County, retailer Tuesday afternoon.

Around 1:42 p.m., the two suspects robbed the store with at least one suspect wielding a handgun. It’s unclear what the suspects stole at this time.

No one was hurt during the incident.

“Our deputies are still working the crime scene,” said Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Andy Arnold.

The two suspects fled the scene and the RCSO has an active perimeter up around Salem Road.

One suspect is believed to be a black male wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans. The other suspect is believed to be wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.
