American Legion Post 77 will pause to honor the fallen service men and women on Monday, May 28, 11 a.m., in a reminder that the true meaning of the Memorial Day holiday and weekend is more than cookouts and vacations.
The patriotic program begins 11 a.m. at the Post 77 hall at 674 Legion Road, Conyers.
Along with remarks by guest speaker Pete Mecca, the ceremony will feature a 21 gun salute, TAPS, wreath presentation, a presentation of the colors, and words from American Legion Post 77 officials.
The program is free and the public is invited to attend this special ceremony.
