Military families and service members looking for help navigating the maze of information about benefits and services available to them may be able to get many of their questions answered in an expo next week. The American Legion Post 77 in Conyers will host a military benefits and services expo on Jan. 22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the post located at 674 Legion Road NE. Representatives from many groups and organizations will be at the expo to answer questions and guide attendees. Groups include Tricare, Veteran’s Affairs, the Ga. Department of Labor, Blue Star Families, Health and Human Services, education, transition assistance advisors, ESGR, finance, Military One Source, Operation Home Front, DEERS/Rapids, the Chaplain core, and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Plus, there’ll also be a kids corner with representatives from 4-H, Operation Military Kids, Art Reach, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, and the YMCA.
