It’s certainly not Wimbledon, but it’s a chance to see some of the finest players in tennis this weekend at the Atlanta Open, when these dudes battle it out for some pretty decent cash prizes. And while I’m not exactly a tennis buff, I do know that more than 33,000 people attended the Atlanta Open last year, so there must be something to it. At the very least it’s something new (for some of you), and a reason to stand around outside in fun pastel pants and drink lemonade. That may also work for golf. I’m working on being diverse here, people – help me out! It’s being held at Atlantic Station, so if you get tired of watching a ball go back and forth, wander off and see a movie or do a bit of shopping.
