IN BRIEF: All Rockdale County Public Schools after school activities except elementary tutorial and aftercare programs are being canceled due to potential hazardous weather conditions.  "We are calling elementary tutorial and aftercare parents and asking them to pick their child up early if they can," said RCPS spokesperson Cindy Ball. 

After school activities and clubs for the Eastminster School have been canceled, but the after school program is continuing. 

The Barksdale Boys and Girls Club in Conyers is closing early due to inclement weather and is calling parents to pick up their children.

After school activities at Young American Christian School have reportedly been canceled. 

The Newton County Public Schools system has also canceled its after school activities, except for the After School Academic Program for elementary, middle and high schools. "Parents of ASAP students may wish to pick up their student(s) at school or await their arrival at home at the normal time via school bus," Superintendent Gary Mathews said in an email.
