A two-vehicle wreck on Salem Road that had tied up traffic has been cleared.

A red passenger car and a red truck collided near the I-20 entrance around 7 a.m. Rescue personnel had to extricate the driver of the passenger car, according to a Rockdale County Fire Department spokesperson.

At least one person was life-flighted. The destination hospital and patient status remains unconfirmed.
