he Pilot Club of Conyers threw a spring soiree in the first ever Pilot Club Fashion Extravaganza and luncheon on May 5 at Conyers First Presbyterian Church's Meyers Hall. More than 200 attended the event, which featured spring fashions from Belk's department store. The show was emceed by Judge Lillis Brown and music provided by Dr. Jim Sendelbach, decorations by Pat Neely and Shirley Moye, committee head was Betty McCullough and lunch served by Pilot Club members. More than 20 local models particpated and were escorted by Sgt. Dusty Brown and RCSO Deputy Phil Smith. The Pilot Club is a service organization whose main focus is brain-related disorders. The funds from the fashion show will go to ten Pilot-supported charities.
