Benefit Motorcycle Ride for Kierstyn Burnell

Description: On June 6, 2010 Kierstyn Jordan Brunell was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer known as Osteosarcoma. She has been undergoing chemotherapy at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and on September 10, 2010 doctors amputated Jordans right leg. Due to all the financial obligations of a family fighting cancer, her family is reaching out to the community to ask for help in purchasing Jordan a prosthetic leg and all of the many necessary supplies that go along with that. We are hosting a 60 mile motorcycle ride through the rural countryside in which all proceeds will go towards Jordan's needs. We invite everyone in the community to attend. Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. and pull out will be at 11:00 a.m. "OLD" Covington Walmart, 9136 HWY. 278, Covington, GA

Edwards Middle School Octoberfest

Description: Admission is canned goods to donate to the Rockdale Emergency Relief Food Bank. Games, food, fun, and prizes. Kids must be accompanied by adults. Halloween costumes welcomed, no masks.
