We live in a world of hurt, pain, chaos, disappointment, and injury. Life is tough. Sometimes it is discouraging and difficult to cope with all that we face. It is easy to allow these things to damage us physically, spiritually and emotionally.

The good news is that God is still in the healing business. He can take all your sins, loss, hurt, pain, injury and disappointment and bring healing into your life. You do not have to live under the circumstances. With the touch and help of God, you can rise above all that is coming against you. You really can.

Sooner or later, all of us need a healing touch from God, whether it is physical, spiritual, or in some other critical area of our life. The prophet Jeremiah prayed: "Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed...for you are the one I praise," (Jeremiah 17:14). The prophet Malachi reminds us that the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings, (Malachi 4:2).

The God who created us, deeply cares for us and wants to be personally involved in our lives. Much of the ministry of Jesus was spent healing physical needs from one end of the spectrum to the other. In fact, he even raised the dead. He still cares about our physical well-being and is able to bring healing to us as we trust him in faith.

He also wants to bring spiritual healing to us because of the infectious disease of sin that is prevalent in epidemic proportions in our world and in the lives of people all around us. He wants to heal us spiritually, that we might enjoy abundant life in him.

But God’s healing touch does not stop there. He is able to heal and restore us from the hurt, pain, injury, and brokenness that seems to come with life in 2008. Many people need a deep, inner healing from some loss, disappointment, or betrayal in their life. Whatever our need, he is the great healer. He wants to touch you at the deepest level of your life.

Perhaps it is your marriage, your children, your finances, or something else that has brought emotional pain and left scars on you. Perhaps you are bound by an addiction that seems larger than life. Regardless of your need, God is bigger than whatever it is that you are facing.

In love, he calls you to himself and asks you to simply call out to him in faith and trust him, not just for what he can do for you, but that you might desire him for who he is. He loves you and has a plan and purpose for your life. He has come to give you life, real life, abundant life, (John 10:10). He wants a personal relationship with you. He has promised to take care of his children.

The God who created us knows how to bring healing and restoration to our life. Trust him today. Reach out in faith and claim your miracle. The healer is here.
