Former Senate Chaplain to visit First Baptist

This Sunday, former chaplain of the United States Senate Dr. Lloyd Ogilvie will be preaching at First Baptist Church in Covington. He served as Senate Chaplain from 1995-2003 and is a beloved figure in Washington and throughout the world.

Dr. Ogilvie received a Master of Theology at Garrett Theological Seminary and conducted postgraduate studies at New College, University of Edinburgh, Scotland. He has served as a pastor in Illinois, Pennsylvania and California. While at the First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood he had a nationally syndicated television show, "Let God Love You," which was on the air for 17 years. He also hosted a daily radio program for 10 years. Dr. Ogilvie has authored 52 books and has been internationally recognized for his preaching.

First Baptist is honored to have Dr. Ogilvie present and wouldn’t want anyone in the Covington area to miss this banner event. Service times at First Baptist are 8:25 a.m. and 10:55 a.m. in the main sanctuary, and at 9:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
