The 13-year-old Newton County girl who was missing for a month has been found safe. See the story at CovNews.com.

The young lady and her family are fortunate that this was the outcome.

Joshua Harry Measroch, 21, who enticed the young lady online to go with him, is in jail.

This is a lesson for all parents: You need to have some kind of control over your child’s computer use.

You might feel that is an invasion of your child’s privacy. But having controls over a 13-year-old’s computer use and other social communication is not an invasion of privacy. It’s called being a good parent.

We are more than happy that our story told about the young teen’s safe return home. The next story might not have a positive outcome.
