This past week the Covington City Council voted to purchase 15 external defibrillators for the Covington Police Department.
One of the defibrillators will be kept at the police station and the remaining 14 will be placed in police cars.
We feel this is a very wise use of locally seized drug money.
If even one life is saved by this investment, it will forever be worth the price.
