"However horrible the incidents of war may be, the soldier who is called upon to offer and to give his life for his country is the noblest development of mankind." - Douglas MacArthur, 1880 - 1964.
Tuesday, we celebrate and honor the courage of our men and woman who have served in our armed forces both today and yesterday.
Most of us in this country understand that "freedom is never free." The men and women who have given their lives to protect that freedom, understood that as did their families.
We ask of each of you, that sometime in your busy schedule Tuesday, that you take a minute to say a prayer of thanks for every person who has served our country from its beginnings until now. If you have a veteran in your family, why don't you give them a big hug and thank them for each of us that are enjoying the benefits of what they have so nobly defended.
