The editorial board of The Covington News is hitting the road this week.

We're staging two town meetings, 6 p.m. Monday in the historic schoolhouse in Newborn, and at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Porterdale City Hall.

We may buy the ink, but this is your newspaper.

To that end, these will be sessions where you can tell us what's on your mind, what you think we should be covering, and what you want to see in the newspaper.

The town hall meetings are open to all. Stop in and talk with us and have a cookie or two and a soda.
