We can understand a community’s concern on having group homes and residences in their neighborhoods.

Having that concern doesn’t make the people of that community cruel or not caring.

Many folks in our area picked their homes because of the quiet nature of the neighborhoods they have chosen.

Taking the chance of shattering that peace and quiet by allowing group homes or any homes with multiple families is not fair.

We agree with the county’s recent decision to tighten regulations so that group homes cannot spring up everywhere.
There is plenty of land in Newton County if you wish to have and operate a group home. Find vacant land and build to your hearts content, then everyone will be happy.
