One of the cornerstones of a free society is a good education system. What makes a good education system is good teachers.
 We want to salute a great teacher, Christine Kraemer, who is the music teacher at Cousins Middle school.
 Ms. Kraemer in her acceptance speech said, "Behind every good teacher there is a set of good students, parents and administrators. It will be an extraordinary honor to represent Newton County".
 Ms. Kraemer, the honor of having you as teacher of the year, is all ours.
