Tuesday is the primary election. Many of you have already taken advantage of early voting at the Newton County administration building, but those of you who haven't should schedule some time to do so on Tuesday.
Although this is not a presidential election year, it is an important election year.
We will gain a new governor, U.S. and state representatives, two board of commissioners members and three new board of education members in November.
On Tuesday you can narrow the playing field for the candidate of your choice.
Countless men and women have suffered and died to protect this most fundamental of American values: the right to elect our own government representatives.
