The U.S. Senate approved the appointment of Timothy Geithner as our new treasury secretary Tuesday.

 This is a blatant case of putting the fox in charge of the chicken pen.

 Geithner, while millions of Americans are struggling to pay income taxes and paying fines and penalties for not being able to pay bills on time, decided to not pay all of his taxes since 2001 in spite of the fact he was given money by his employer to do so.

 He did pay up just before he was nominated for the position.

We find this appointment to be very disturbing.
