Someone or some group put a poll on Facebook Saturday, which has since been taken down because of its offensive nature, asking if the president of the United States should be assassinated.

 This is an absolute disgrace.

 We have a constitutional right to disagree and protest against the policies of the president of the United States. We do not have a right to post a poll visible to millions that asks if he should be killed.

 We hope that the secret service tracks down the nut-job or nut-jobs who posted this poll and prosecutes them to the fullest extent of the law. To the people who said yes the president should be assassinated, shame on you.

 Presidential assassinations turn the country upside down and murder is a crime not only against man’s law, but God’s as well.

 We might not always agree with our president, but he is our president for at least the next three years and he and his family do not deserve to be threatened in this way.
