Anything we can do as citizens to support our valiant troops should be a priority.

This Saturday, from 4 until 9 p.m., there will be a special benefit on the Covington Square featuring our lovable friends from Hazzard County, the Dukes of Hazzard.

This free event is sponsored by Operation Sandbox, a group dedicated to collecting special needs supplies for our troops.

Donations of toiletries, drink mixes, entertainment items and batteries are welcome.
