We reported on Friday that three new industies — whose names have not been released yet by the Chamber of Commerce — are planning on locating in Newton County.

We also reported that local brake maufacturer Nisshinbo is also expanding.

These two things mean only one thing to the residents of Newton County: More jobs are on the way.

The economy seems as uncertain as ever, and many Newton residents are still grappling with the job search. Hopefully 270 of our residents will no longer be feeling the sting of unemployment.
