The Newton High School Rams basketball team, under the direction of coach Rick Rasmussen, has played this year with enthusiasm and spirit. Their efforts have been shown in their 14-0 district record.
On Wednesday they thoroughly beat the Douglass High team to advance to the state finals.
Coach Rasmussen recently said, "The Good Lord has blessed us with a great group of kids with good character; we are truly blessed."
All we can add to that coach is - Amen.
