Our community has been rocked over the last two weeks by the untimely deaths of two of our young people in car crashes.
Both young men were in the very prime of their lives. Either, or both of them, very well could have been future leaders of our community.
Our prayers and special thoughts go out to both families.
If anything can be learned from these tragedies, it's that when you or your teenager gets behind the wheel of a car, always you have to remember to think and you always need to drive defensively.
We do not need to lose anyone else in our community due to a car accident - much less anymore of our bright young people - for any reason.
When you get behind the wheel, buckle your seat belt, think and drive defensively.
Be aware also of pedestrians. Halloween is coming up soon, and we don't want to see anybody's evening ruined due to careless driving.
