A sure sign that fall on its way is the return of the fall concert series on the square in Covington.

This annual event begins tomorrow and is sponsored by the Arts Association of Newton County, Main Street Covington, The Covington News and Honda of Conyers. These lunch time concerts have grown in popularity and are a good place to spend some time with your neighbors and friends.

The shows start at noon.

We might suggest you bring your lunch or order out from any of the restaurants on the square, bring a quilt or chair and enjoy your lunch on the peaceful shaded square.

You might even come early and poke around in some of the shops that sell their wares on the Covington Square.
