Business and health care reform

The No. 1 issue on the minds of any business owner who has more than one employee should be gaining an understanding how the health care reform bill recently passed by Congress is going to affect his or her business.

The Covington-Newton Chamber of Commerce recognizes that this is a critical issue.

On June 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., the chamber has invited Ryan Mahoney, director of public policy for the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, to speak to local business owners about the impact the bill will have on small business bottom lines.

We recommend you make plans to attend this free seminar, which will be held at the Newton campus of Georgia Perimeter College, located at 239 Cedar Lane.

A light breakfast will be served so reservations are required. Please go online to www.newtonchamber.com/calander or call (770) 786-7510 to register.
