However, succulent, inexpensive barbecue isn't the only attraction. A beauty pageant, singing contest and dozens of other entertainers and vendors will at the fair grounds.
Porterdale will again draw residents to the banks of the Yellow River with the Yellow River Jam Saturday. The day begins with a river cleanup and continues with bands and musicians of all kinds performing all day and into the night.
