Dear Editor: I would like to thank a special young lady, who on Nov. 25 at about 6:15 p.m. happened to be in the drive-through line at Chick-fil-A. I failed to get her name, but I will never forget her kindness.
Our car was just ahead of hers, and as we attempted to pay at the window, we were told that ours was already paid for by the person behind us. We were stunned.
Pulling aside, I got out of our car to thank the person, whom we did not know. Approaching the red SUV, I saw a beautiful young brunette female who said, "I don’t know you, but I wanted to do this."
She was not aware that we had been at Emory Eye Clinic for 3.5 hours, leaving at 5 p.m. in holiday afternoon traffic. We were tired, and her gracious kindness refreshed our feeling and mood. Thank you to a very special lady.
