Dear Sirs: I am a proud parent of a 21 year-old special needs young adult. I am personally asking that you vote "Yes" for the SPLOST on Tuesday.

My son is just like others his age. He loves music, food and especially sports. Please give these children and young adults the same opportunity as others in our community, give them a field were they can play ball, have a good time and make lasting friendships.

My son now plays in Miracle League in Conyers but would love the opportunity to play in the town and county where he lives.

Please vote "Yes" on Tuesday.
