William J. (Bill) Taylor, of Covington, passed away Jan. 11, 2018, at the age of 74. Mr. Taylor faithfully served the community through the State Farm Insurance Agency for 35 years.

Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Martha C. Taylor; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Allison Taylor, of Decatur; daughter and son-in-law, Lei and Dan Comerford of Sandy Springs; grandchildren, Benjamin Taylor, Harrison Taylor, William Taylor; sisters and brother-in-law, Susan and Jack Mills, of Donalsonville, Mary Jarrett of Dothan, AL; brother, Steve Taylor, of Moultrie; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Taylor will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, at First Presbyterian Church, 1169 Clark St. SW, in Covington, with Rev. Dr. William B. Wade, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends at the reception, in the fellowship hall, following the service.
