 Mr. William Dale Hampton, Sr., 91 of Covington died March 8, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Hampton was born in Unecka, NC in 1918 to the late James Pearl and Bertha Faust Hampton. Mr. Hampton retired from Randall Brothers Lumber Company after 30 years as a Building Materials Salesman. He attended Young Harris College and was an avid fisherman and Georgia Bulldogs Fan. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was predeceased by his brothers Ralph and Earl Hampton and sisters Ella Joy, Violet Brinson and Lois Hagen.  Surviving are his wife of 70 years Mary Jo Almand Hampton, three sons:  William Dale Hampton, Jr. and his wife Geneva of Roswell, Thomas Anthony Hampton and his wife Joan of Canton, Joe Sims Hampton and his wife Diane of Covington; four grandchildren:  Alia Hampton Marino and her husband Marcel of Kennesaw, Jennifer Hampton Towns and her husband Russell of Covington, Eric Hampton of Cumming,  Brooke Hampton Jeffries and her husband Tom of McRae, four great grandchildren: Thomas Marino, Dante Marino, Julia Diane Towns and Connor Joseph Towns.  Funeral Services for Mr. Hampton will be held on Friday March 12, 2010 at 1:00 PM from Conyers First Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Park. Chaplain Allen Tarr will officiate the services. The family will receive friends from 10am to 12 noon at the church.
