Virginia F. Bruyere, 87, of Snellville, passed away Sept. 25. She was a loving, supportive minister’s wife of 56 years and a wonderful mother. She is at home rejoicing with her beloved Lord, Jesus. Mrs. Bruyere was preceded in death by her husband Gus Bruyere and sons David and Andre.

Surviving are daughters Sonnie Austin of Ellijay and Donna Bruyere of Atlanta; daughter-in-law Nancy Bruyere, Clinton S.C.; son Michael Adrian Bruyere, Cheyene, Wyo.; sister-in-law Andrienne Bruess, Minneapolis, Minn.; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 3, in the United Methodist Church of Dearing Cemetery, Dearing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Gideons International, P.O. Box 2242, Lilburn, Ga., 30048
