Teddy Piper, 61, of Douglasville, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016. He was born in Covington on September 12, 1954. Teddy was employed with Home Depot in Douglasville, as a member of sales merchandising team. He was a member of Crossroads Church in Douglasville, a “HUGE” Alabama fan and a Harley Davidson enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Piper of Douglasville; sons, Dustin Piper of Conyers and Jordan Greenway of Douglasville; sister, Robin Lamb and husband, Jeff, of Covington; sister-in-laws, Lisa Barfield of Douglasville and Elizabeth Dunkin of Villa Rica and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his biological father, Fred Piper, Jr.; parents: Billy and Frances Coady Lindsey. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at 4 p.m. at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel.
