Sidney Wallace Denny, age 71, of McDonough died Friday, February 13, 2015. He was born in Porterdale to John W. and Sara Ruth Denny. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Townley. After his time spent with the Navy SeaBees, he worked for the United States Postal Service for over 30 years. After retirement he started his own heating and air company, All Air, Inc.

Mr. Denny is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carol Joan Denny; son, Jason Wallace (Marilee) Denny, Conyers; daughter, Julie Elizabeth Collier, McDonough; grandchildren, Georgia Lee Denny, Avery Grace Denny, Ellie Clare Denny, Mack Wallace Denny, and Hudson Wallace Denny; siblings, Ramona Prince, Toreitha Carter, and Damon Townley.

Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015 at the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
