Mrs. Sarah Hall, of Covington, passed away, June 1, 2017, peacefully in her home.  She was born December 1, 1935 to Sam and Lannie Womack who have preceded her in death.  Mrs. Hall was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.  She was a faithful Christian who attended East Newton Baptist Church.  Mrs. Hall spent her spare time fishing, gardening, and also visiting Tybee Island where she enjoyed going to the beach. 

Mrs. Hall is preceded in death by her husband; Jake Hall, son; Patrick Hall and her siblings; Tommy Womack, James Womack, and Bernice Lazenby.  She is survived by her children; Margie and Larry Ledbetter, Terry Lynn and Brenda Hall, grandchildren; Melinda Hegwood, Daniel Hall, Donna and Wayne Mathis, DeAnne and Tommy Young, Tonya and Lewis Webb, Allen and Andrea Ledbetter, Sherry and Josh Black, twelve great grandchildren, two great-great-grand-children, and her sister, Doris Johnson along with a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Hall will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Reverend Tom Lee officiating.  Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Sunday prior to the service.  J.C.
