Sara Orthello Fields, 81, of Covington, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 13.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, James Perry Fields and her grandson Shannon Moseley.

She is survived by two daughters Elaine Moseley and husband Thomas of Newborn and Susan Payne of Covington and son Michael Fields and wife Dana of Maryland.

She is also survived by five grandchildren Tracy Moseley, Jamie Fletcher, Connie Fletcher, Michelle Russo and husband Michael and Melony Fields; two great-grandchildren Lauren Moseley and Angela Fletcher; brother Tom Richardson and wife Dorothy and brother-in-law Harvey Hopkins and multiple nieces and nephews.

She retired with 25 years in the insurance industry and was a member of the Starlight Chapter of the Eastern Star.
She was a member of Pensacola Baptist Temple. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today, Oct. 17, at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens with Rev. Lanny Richardson officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m.
