Sammy Moss, 82, of Covington, passed away Aug. 20. Mr. Moss was a dedicated employee of Southern Bell, for 31 years, before retiring at the age of 51. Mr. Moss was loved dearly and will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his precious daughter Cindy Moss Savage and his parents Cloma and Stella (Craig) Moss.

Survivors include his best friend and loving wife of 63 years Nevada C. Moss; sons Gregg Moss of Covington, Derrick Moss of Mansfield; grandchildren Jason Savage, Marie S. Webb, Aimee M. Lawson, Cassie M. Singleton, Katie Moss, Craig Moss, Justin Moss, Abigail Moss; nine great-grandchildren; brother Frank Moss of Covington; two nephews and one niece.
