Sammy M. Brown, a lifelong resident of Covington, passed away February 8, 2010, at the age of 59. Mr. Brown was a former employee of Wil-Mac, Inc., and member of The Church at Covington. He loved playing golf, and enjoyed playing his guitar and singing country music. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Lois Medley Brown. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Anita Brown of Covington; several sisters and brothers; grandsons, Richie Brown, Tony Brown; several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service for Mr. Brown will be held Thursday, February 11, 2010, 6 PM, at The Church at Covington, 11975 Highway 142, Oxford, GA 30054, with Pastor David Payne officiating.
