Saleta Lunsford, age 70, a lifelong resident of the Covington and Social Circle area passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014.  She was born in Porterdale on July 27, 1943 to the late Horace and Magnolia Barnes Lunsford.  Saleta retired from Bellsouth and was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and loved going to the beach.  Ms. Lunsford was preceded in death by her brother H. Lamar Lunsford.  She is survived by her daughters Nona Findley of Social Circle, Nikki Fountain of Oxford and Nina and Gregory Pickett of Covington and 6 grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sister-in-law Betty Jean Lunsford of Covington and her lifelong friends Allen and Polly Lemonds of Social Circle.  A memorial service will be held at 5pm Sunday, January 12, 2014 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Darrell Allen officiating.  The family will receive friends from 4pm until 5pm on Sunday prior to the service.  J.C.
