Ronald Franklin Berry, of Monticello, passed away December 24, 2013, at the age of 77. Mr. Berry collected and restored antique outboard motors and boats, and enjoyed DIY projects. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Berry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend to many. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Franklin Berry; brother, Ralph Glenn Berry; and aunts, Melba Crenshaw and Evelyn Crenshaw.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Berry; sons and daughter-in-law, Darren Berry, and Michael and Leah Berry; grandchildren, Levi Berry, Maggie Berry, and Nolan Berry; mother, Catherine Margaret Berry; brother, Bobby Berry; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service for Mr. Berry will be held at 2 p.m. Dec. 28 at Berry Family Cemetery, Highway 212, Covington. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Dec. 27 at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Covington.
