Mr. Robert J. Patrick, Sr., age 87, passed away April 5, 2017.  He was born November 15, 1929 in Social Circle to Brantley and Mamie Patrick who have preceded him in death.  Mr. Patrick enjoyed western movies and long rides in the country usually riding through the country side around Social Circle where his father farmed.  Another passion of Mr. Patrick’s was his love of Christmas.  He always loved to talk about Christmas and wanted everyone to have good Christmas Season.  Mr. Patrick was preceded in death by his wife, Janie Eileen Patrick, his son, Robert J. Patrick, Jr., his sisters, Lois Mask, Eloise Chancey, and Rachel Wilson and his daughter-in-law Raygenia Patrick. 

Mr. Patrick is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Bob Collins, his son, Jerry Patrick, his daughter-in-law; Brenda Patrick, his granddaughters; Kimberly, Kelly, Kerri, and Jennifer, his grandson; Joseph, and a host of other family members and friends.

Graveside services for Mr. Patrick will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Lawnwood Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service.  J.C.
