Robert J. Breza of Conyers, died March 23, 2009, at the age of 81. Born to the late John Joseph and Rose Mary Salamon Breza, in New Brunswick, NJ, he attended Rahway High, in Rahway, NJ. Upon graduation, he attended Columbia University where he received a BS in Chemistry and a BS in Engineering. He worked for General Foods for 33 years in various locations including Dover, DE, and Hoboken, NJ. He began playing the violin at the age of 3, and was an accomplished violinist playing in various community orchestras, including the Summit Symphony, Hilton Head Orchestra, and the Conyers-Covington Orchestra. Mr. Breza enjoyed researching family genealogy, cooking, traveling, collecting stamps and visiting relatives. Most important to him was his family, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Breza was preceded in death by his brother, E. Richard Breza.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Breza; daughters and sons-in-law, Marika and Randy Kanipe of Covington, Barbara and Brian Coyne of Larchmont, NY; grandchildren, James R. Kanipe, Rebekah A. Kanipe, Elizabeth R. Coyne.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Breza will be held Saturday, March 28, 2009, 4:00 PM, at Salem United Methodist Church, with Rev. Randy Kanipe officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Conyers-Covington Orchestra, Robert J. Breza Fund, c/o Mrs. Arlene Woods, 270 Doubles Drive, Covington, GA 30016.
