Robert “Bob” Patrick, Jr., of Conyers, passed away January 20, 2010, at the age of 59. Mr. Patrick was a 1968 graduate of Newton High School, before continuing his education at University of Georgia, graduating in 1972. He retired from General Motors after 34 years of dedicated service. Mr. Patrick enjoyed running and playing tennis. Survivors include his loving wife, Brenda G. Patrick of Conyers; daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Lt. Billy Young, USN of Smithfield, VA, Kelly and Ryan Connors of Smyrna, GA, Kerri Patrick-Singer of Conyers; grandson, Dakota Patrick of Smithfield, VA; parents, Robert J. Sr., and Eileen Patrick, of Covington; sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and Bob Collins of Covington; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Raygenia Patrick of Oxford, GA. Funeral Services for Mr. Patrick will be held Saturday, January 23, 2010, 2 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Rd., in Covington, with Celebrant, Adam Cooper; and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Friday, January 22, from 7-8 PM.
