Mrs. Rita Labowicz, 56, passed away July 29 at her home in Covington. Mrs. Labowicz was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Betty Hinman and brother, Joseph Hunt. She loved to spend time with her grandson Christopher. She also enjoyed spending time with her dogs Nina and Daphne, and shopping.

Mrs. Labowicz is survived by her husband Vincent Labowicz of Covington; son and daughter-in-law Chris and Paige Labowicz of Monroe; grandson Christopher Paul Labowicz Jr.; sister-in-law Tina Hinman of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; step-sister Linda Lluis of Hollywood, Fla.; as well as Labowicz family members in Trenton, N.J.

Funeral services for Mrs. Labowicz will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 5, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Covington. Internment will follow in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, two hours prior to the service, from noon until 2 p.m. Flowers are accepted or donations can be made to the Labowicz family.
