Rebecca Ann Hamm Walden, 32, of Covington, and Ivey Lynn Walden, 3, of Covington died October 10, 2009, in an automobile accident. Rebecca loved being a mother. Her favorite things to do with her children were arts and crafts, and walking through the woods to teach them about nature. She enjoyed fishing and camping with her family. Little Ivey was very compassionate and thoughtful even at such a young age, and loved to take care of her younger brother, Will. She loved animals and especially loved to ride with her daddy on his motorcycle on their property. Ivey is preceded in death by her grandfather, Howard Walden, Sr. Rebecca’s survivors include her spouse, Howard Walden; children, Aliece Hamm, Kaleck Hamm, Will Walden; step-children, Jacob Walden, Nicki Daniecki (Patrick), Casey Walden, Adam Walden, Sam Walden, all of Covington; parents, Phillip and Teresa Smith of Ochlocknee, GA, maternal grandparents, Ivey and Mary Harris of White Springs, FL. Little Ivey’s survivors include her father, Howard Walden; sisters, Nicki Daniecki (Patrick), Casey Walden, Aliece Hamm; brothers, Jacob Walden, Adam Walden, Sam Walden, Kaleck Hamm, Will Walden; maternal grandparents, Phillip and Teresa Smith; paternal grandmother, Virginia Walden; maternal great-grandparents, Ivey and Mary Harris. Funeral Services for Rebecca and Ivey will be held Monday, October 19, 2009, 10 AM, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, with Bishop Knorpp officiating. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd St., Sunday, October 18, from 1-3 PM and 6-8 PM. Interment will be held Tuesday, October 20, 12 PM, at Harris Cemetery in White Springs, Florida.
