Phyllis Krinks Nicholson of Covington died Jan. 19 at The Retreat in Monticello.  She was born in 1929 in Sydney, Australia, to Stanley G. and Amy Krinks. She met and married Henry Frederick Nicholson during World War II in Sydney. After the war they settled their family in Fitzgerald, moved south to Lake Worth, Fla., and eventually moved to Covington 22 years ago. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Henry Frederick Nicholson, parents Stanley and Amy Krinks and brother Charles Krinks. 

Mrs. Nicholson is survived by son and daughter in law Robert F and Carla Nicholson of Jupiter, Fla.; daughter and son in law Linda and Jerrold Zmistowski of Monticello; grandchildren Angela Nicholson Holland, Jamie Zmistowski, Robert Nicholson, Kathryn Zmistowski, Lauren ZmistowskiDeck and family members in Australia.
