Peggy Waldrip, 78, of Covington, passed away Feb. 1. A retired typist with The Gwinnett Daily News, Mrs. Waldrip was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Waldrip in 1991, grandsons Michael and Trey Waldrip in 1976, and Ken Duvall in 2009.

She is survived by children Doug and Debi Waldrip, Lithonia, Mike and Bunny Waldrip, Winder, Patricia Waldrip, Lawrenceville, Beth and Shawn Morgan, Oxford; sister and brother-in-law Sandra and Don Francois, Greenbay, Wisc.; special granddaughter Taylor Nicole Morgan, Oxford; other grandchildren Nicholas Waldrip, Seth Waldrip, Christopher Waldrip, Lauren Waldrip, Andrew Jones, Adrian Bean, Crystal Litton; great-grandchildren Abby Gibbs, Kylie Litton, Michael Phillips, Makayla Jones, Dakota Heaton, Trey Duvall; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Feb. 5 in the Lawrenceville chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. David Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville. The family will receive friends from 3 to 9 p.m. today, Feb. 4, and from 1 to 3 p.m. Feb. 5 at the Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road, Lawrenceville.
